Rented an oTentik from Parks Canada. Great place for the night. Extremely loud in the wind.

Pretty awesome! Very clean very well taken care of. I didn't like the lack or trees, I get its the grass lands but.. well I like trees. I'm not saying they should plant some but it's something I enjoy. The after hours instructions weren't immediately clear. The over flow area which is for after hours campers was okay. It would have been nice to have the ability to get a different site if there were spits available. Maybe an online system of some kind?Over all great experience. Just a little confusing.

Love this place!! Great trails, plenty wildlife, nice campground, friendly park staff - they even offered a story time by the fire at night where everybody could gather by the fire and have a great time. Clean and well maintained facilities. Free admission. Definitely beyond our expectations!

VERY unique experience. Due to the location and the presentation of the natural landscape has very little sign of human settlers. The experience of nature in it's natural form is breath taking, from the Bison to the Prairie Dog. You feel like you have stepped back in time to the early 1900's.When you drive to this location do yourself a big favor and continue driving on HWY #1 to Swift Current and drive South on hwy #4 as the maps show other access roads as highways but in reality they are little more than narrow and very rough ride especially if driving an RV or pulling a trailer.

This is a really cool campground! We stayed for a few nights. The pit toilets are literally the best kept we've seen to date on this continent... well anywhere for that matter. It's great for watching the dark sky, viewing Bison and playing with Prairie Dogs. The cell reception with Bell was ok in most areas, 4G LTE in spots and there is wifi in the information building. We got to watch clear dark skies and also a big storm roll in with epic lightning. The staff were friendly and the grounds kept well.As with any campground, the sites are always too close for my liking, but in saying that, the sites here are pretty well spaced in comparison. It is literally wide open space though, so no privacy, but still no issues there. Was surprised to find a lot of trails were mowed so it's easy to find your way around and go exploring.
