1 star is being nice. I can't believe this is considered a park. The Saskatchewan desert is what I call it Hot, dry, dust. That's about all there is to see here. Campsites are a joke. Absolutely no privacy whatsoever. What blows my mind is that the government is wasting money building a highway through it. Nice, new, expensive highway through the middle of nothing

Truly amazing. I could stay for days and watch the wildlife. And the sunsets. So many wildflowers. You truly can get lost here-hike a few hundred feet from the campground and it disappears. If you go with your trailer bring a full water tank. They don't have a full station.

Amazing place! Totally unique flora and fauna in the country and the views of the milky way at night are really spectacular. Worth a visit just for the night sky alone. On another note, getting to the park was a bit tricky since the bumpy gravel roads through the farmland wasn't always clearly marked.

A true gem in the national park system. We stopped here more on a whim and were not disappointed. We stayed at the Frenchmen Valley campsite which is a little remote but has all the neccesaties that you need. There are pit toilets that are very clean and a common building that offers a few amenities. There are hiking trails that leave right from the campsite and they all lead to beautiful views. If you stay here do yourself a favor and leave all your electronics in a box, just unplug and unwind. An amazing spot!!

Love this place. Lots to hike and great view points. Lots of bison to and wild life! The one thing I was a bit let down on though was in the east block they had red lighting at night. We'd went for the dark skies presentation and had already set up our telescopes but the hang put shack had bright white lights that seemed to flood the over flow camping area which made it really hard to see any detail, when the night before you could see so much with the naked eye. It seems that having the same red lighting in the actual dark sky preserve would be a much better move.
